Here is the My Favorite Things sketch of the week in red and in blue.

Ingredients to make the card:
Stamp Sets from a local craft store
Ink:   Basic Black, Versamark
Paper:   Whisper White, Basic Black and designer series paper
Accessories:   Baker's Twine, White Embossing Powder, Black button and enamel dots from a local craft store
Tools:   Heat Gun, Embossing Buddy, Spiral Border Punch

Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge

This week at Pals Paper Arts there is a sketch challenge.   I was completely drawn to the sketch.   I love this sketch.    For the sketch I was able to use the banners from the wonderful Banner Banter stamp set!

For the banner post it was a combination of Banner Banter and then the long banner piece I use the straight line from Celebrate Today.   To make sure that there it was a clean line.  I masked the long line of Banner Banter and just stamp The ball and the 3 lines.   Then I did the rest of the straight line.

Ingredients to make the card:
Stamp Sets:   Banner Banter, Sweet Essentials, Baby We've Grown, Celebrate Today
Ink:  Basic Black, Pink Pirouette, Pink Pirouette Blendabilities
Paper:   Whisper White, Pink Pirouette
Accessories:  Enamel Hearts from a local craft store
Tools;  Banner Punch

More Chalkboard Happy Birthday

Here is another card made with the chalkboard technique colored in with my Blendablities.    The best part is that with my Stampin' Write markers I don't always get the crisp lines in my images when I color in.    So end stamping the image a few times to get the nice bold images.   But with heat embossing the image and then coloring in with my Blendabilities, it is so easy.

Here is the chalkboard happy birthday paired up with the My Favorite Things Meets Page Maps sketch.

Ingredients to make the card:
Stamp set from an online store
Ink:   Versamark, Pink Pirouette and Soft Sky Blendabilites
Paper:  Basic Black, Pink Pirouette and Designer Paper from a local craft store
Accessories:   Black Twine, Neutral Candy Dots, Black Button and Washi Tape from a local craft store, White Embossing Powder
Tools:   Heat Gun and Embossing Powder

Chalkboard Happy Birthday

Okay so my favorite new trend is chalkboard, but even better is chalkboard colored in with my Blendabilities!!!  Love the pastel chalkboard look!   I also love taking black and white designer paper and giving it it's own custom look with colored designer paper.

I just got this great happy birthday stamp and I new it would be just perfect for this week's Freshly Made Sketch.

Ingredients to make the card:
Stamp set from an online store
Ink:   Versamark, Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay Blendabilites
Paper:  Basic Black, Bermuda Bay and Designer Paper from a local craft store
Accessories:   Black Twine and Enamel Dots, White Embossing Powder
Tools:   Heat Gun and Embossing Powder
