Heat Embossing Hand Prints

One of my favorite things to do is to use put Versamark on little kids hands and have them put them stamp their hands on paper. Next I sprinkle a little embossing powder and viola you have heat embossed hand print. I did this last summer with my niece and nephew but just never got around to scrapbooking the hand prints into now.

The last time I did this was in 2008 and it was just my niece at that time. Click here to see that scrapbook page. What a great way to capture hand prints. Since Versamark is clear, it comes off very easily with a baby wipe. I think it was easier getting the hand prints than the photo afterwards. My nephew would just not sit still! lol

So here is my scrapbook page and the ingredients to make it:
Stamp Sets
from a local craft store
Ink: Basic Black, Tempting Turquoise, Versamark, Regal Rose, Real Red, Daffodil Delight
Paper: Island Oasis Designer Series Paper, Whisper White, Basic Black, Real Red
Accessories: Buttons from a local craft store, White Embossing Powder
Tools: Heat Gun, Embossing Buddy, Label Maker, Heart to Heart Punch, Small Heart Punch, Hearts and Brackets Sizzex, Square Lattice Textured Embossing Folder, Big Shot
