Stampin Royalty Picture Inspiration

This week at Stampin' Royalty we are challenging everyone to a photo inspiration.     Here is my take on the beautiful gold and pink photo that our head goddess Georgeann choose.

I love the beautiful rich colors.   My eye was quickly drawn to the gold feather.   I was inspired by a card that I saw created this week on the Retro Sketch blog.    Thank you Retro Sketch for the sketch inspiration.

Rainbows

This week at Stampin' Royalty the theme is rainbows.   I don't know about you, rainbows always make me smile.

Here is my rainbow card made with the Layered Letters Alphabet and the retired Playground Project Life Card.    I first stamped off the color and stamped the square background.   Then with the color I stamped each of the letters.

The sunshine comes by punching one of suns from the Sweet Dreams Designer Series Paper.   The cloud comes from the Playground Project Life Accessory Pack and the Perfect Accents were colored in with black Sharpies.

So Sad to See All These Products Go

So this week's Stampin' Royalty challenge is a color one.    We are playing homage to three retiring In Colors.   The colors are:   Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe paired up with Gold.

I can't tell you how sad I am to see these colors go, the 2013-2015 In Colors have been by far my favorite of all time!   So crisp, so fresh, which just means I am just so sad.  

I paired up the colors with some of my favorite retiring stamp sets along with a Occasions Mini stamp set that is not making it to the catalog.

It also features the beautiful Lullaby designer series paper that is retiring along with the In Color Sequins retiring.      Such a happy card, but it makes me sad to see so many items on the card that will no longer be around.

Delightful Dijon Floral

So I can't help myself and I am completely enjoying playing with the new products and colors from the upcoming 2015-16 Stampin' Up! catalog.    Here is the Delightful Dijon color paired up to create this week's Stampin' Royalty photo challenge.   I was completely drawn to the rose in the lapel.

I decided to pull out the Rose from the Snuggles and Scribbles stamp set to white heat emboss for the challenge.    I love the look and it is absolutely stunning.

Stampin' Royalty Color My World

This month's Stampin' Royalty we are spotlighting each of the goddess from our design team.   This week it is me!   What to learn more about me and check out my design team's creations, click here!

This week we the challenge at Stampin' Royalty is Color My World.    So open up your blender pens, aqua painters and blendabilites and start coloring!!

I am coloring with my favorite new toy, my blendabilites.    I decided to heat emboss and then use my blendabilities and color the white emboss text.    How great does that colored emboss chalkboard look!!!   I also took the Back to Black designer series paper colored in the black and white designer series paper.   How awesome does that look!!

Lastly the gift box is the biggest box you can make the punch board gift box maker with 12x12 paper.   It is a 4" box.

Stampin' Royalty Photo Inspiration

This week Stampin' Royalty brings us a photo inspiration!   I just absolutely love the colors in the photo!    Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight!   Who knew they would become a favorite color combo.    Here is my homemade designer series paper by cutting strips of Coastal Cabana and attaching them to white card stock.

I am so excited I got to play with the amazing photopolymer stamp set called Flower Patch from the 2014-15 Stampin' Up catalog!!   I have a feeling it is going to be my favorite new stamp set!!!   For only $25.95, you get 19 stamps!   How great is that!

Stampin' Royalty Photo Challenge

This week Stampin' Royalty brings us a photo challenge.    I wasn't sure about the mosaic trend at first, but I have to say I am slowly becoming a fan.   What better than this photo to try my hand at the trend.    I used a lot of the pieces from the amazing  Everyday Occasions Cardmaking Kit.    I just pulled a some ink and stamps, cardstock, rhinestones and designer paper to jazz it up.   

That is what I do because let's face it I have way too many things in my stamping studio not to, but a new person starting stamping it has everything you need to make your own cards.   It already even has card ideas in as well.     How great is
