By The Sea

 This week at Stampin' Royalty the theme is By the Sea.   So think summer, the sun, the sea and everything that comes with this wonderful time of the year!

Here is my sea faring card made with the retired but beautiful Stipple Shells stamp set.   The best part of the card was I was able to use the new Gold Metallic Thread in the catalog.   It is just the right amount of bling to add to the card.

So Sweet of You

I just love the cherries in the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper.   It makes me think of summer!  Here is my So Sweet of You card paired up one of this month's Viva La Verve sketch challenges.

Summer Fun

 What is summer without a little sea shells.   I love the retired Stipple Shells stamp set.   It is a part of my collection that I don't think I'll ever part with.   It has to be one of the first stamp sets I ever purchased as a demonstrator.     Here it is paired up with the My Favorite Things sketch of the week.    The shells were stamped by stamping in two colors doing the rock and roll technique.

Mojo Monday Sunshine

 So here is this week's Mojo Monday.   I wasn't quite sure what to do with this sketch, but after some playing the card, it slowly came together.

The clouds were heat embossed in Gold.    For the sun I die cut the center.   The triangles were stamped from the Ray of Sunshine stamp set and then attached to make the sun rays.    Then the sun was cutout.
