Thank You Kindly

I always seem to take the basic concept of a sketch and then end up changing it to fit the design I was looking for.    This week's Always Play with Paper Sketch is no exception.   I needed to get out a few thank you cards and I pulled out some retired products to pull this card together.

Then end result is a super easy thank you.  The hardest part was fussy cutting the floral.

Ingredients to make the card:  Perfect Pairings
Ink:   Early Espresso
Paper:  Whisper White, English Garden Designer Series Paper
Accessories:   Neutral Candy Dots and Button, Linen Thread
Tools:   Circle Framelits

Happy Memorial Day

As soon as I saw this week's My Favorite Things sketch of the week, I wanted to create a card and I even have hopes of creating a scrapbook page.    I love the 5 circles!!      So I decided to pull out the poppy set in honor of Memorial Day.      Thank you for all active military and veterans for keeping our country safe.

Most of the products to make the card are not SU, but the ones that are the ink, card stock, baker's twine and designer series paper.

Happy Memorial Day Everyone!

Administrative Professional Day

April 27th is Administrative Professional Day.   A customer of mine asked me to make a few cards for his assistants.     Here are two project ideas I made.   I have to say I love the first one it.   It is such a great graphic look.    Stacking stamped images love it.   Real Red and Smoky Slate, just beautiful.

The second card I decided to go with a classic office supply look.   I made a tag.   I cut the corners of the card stock corners and then I added a 3/4" square punch with a Crop-a-dile punch center.
