A Year of Holidays

Here is a year of holiday projects I made to give to others.    I wish I had more time to do more, especially when I see all these beautiful images and I didn't get a chance to create more fabulous projects and they just ended up sitting on a shelf.

The first one was made with the gorgeous Sweet Talk DSP.    I paired it up with the Forever & Always stamp set.   A few pieces of card stock and the gift bag came together.

Heare are two cards made with the Easter Friends stamp set paired up with the Flowers of Friendship and Dandy Designs DSP.   Some enamel dots and baker's twine are the finishing touches to the projects.

Not sure if this something that is done all around the USA or just in our corner of the world.    The big thing is to go around and do booing.    Kids prepare goodies to drop off for their friends.   They drop off the boo bag and then ring the doorbell and run really fast to their cars so that their friends have to figure out who dropped off the fun treats.    When I saw the cute images in the Scary Cute set, I knew I wanted to create boo bags with them.     I started with spraying Dylusions shimmery Fresh Lime on the bags.   Next came stamping images with my Stamparatus.     Lastly came strips of DSP from my craft stash and strips of Basic Black card stock.

One of my favorite things to do is to dress up treats that you are bringing to someone's home.   Here I used the Stitched Leaves Dies paired up with the Plaid Tidings DSP.    I die cut the Heart & Home DSP with the  Scalloped Contuours die to give the background a little fun design.  The sentiment is from a retired set.   I am too tired to go and find the exact set name.   The natural dots and button come from craft stash.

The last is gift tags and cards that I made to give to the nurses when my father was done with his radiation treatments.   He happened to finish right before Thanksgiving which made it fun to create these projects for them.      The stamp sets I used was the Painted Harvest, Warm Hearted, Rooted in Nature and Love of Leaves     I then used the Stitched with Leaves dies to die cut the leaves so they had a great stitched edge.   The Crushed Curry foliage comes from the Sunflower dies.    The DSP was from Echo Park Fall is in the Air.    The finishing touches was the natural dots from my craft stash and linen thread.
