Mojo Monday Scrapbooking

Here is this week's Mojo Monday Sketch challenge.    I started making a card and ended up with a scrapbook page that I will be giving in a shadow box for the grad.

1 8x10 scrapbook page that you can put in a picture frame like I did to give to mom or just add it to a 12x12 scrapbook page when you get home

Pals Paper Arts Challege: Snowflakes

The Paper Pal Arts challenge for the week is make a project with snowflakes. So I paired up the snowflake with hearts to make a scrapbook page for this week's challenge. Here is a scrapbook page of me and my guy from Christmas.

New Stampin' Up! Goodies

I had a chance to play with some of the new Stampin' Up! goodies that are coming out in the new Occasions mini come January 5th! Here is my scrapbook page with a picture with my dad and my nephew.

My First Digital Scrapbook Page

I just started to play with the new Digital Scrapbook page from Stampin' Up! So here's my first scrapbook page of my niece & nephew at my sister's wedding. I have to say it is definately the way to go for quick and easy scrapbook pages. They even have full scrapbook page templates in the software, all you need to do is add pictures. Stampin' Up! colors, stamps, embellishments all at your finger tips. Here is an 8 1/2 x11 page that I created.

Holiday Scrapbook Page

Here is the last of my holiday photos that I scrapbooked. I started with the P being die cut with my Serif Essentials. I stamped the rest of the title with my Schoolbook Serif Alphabet. For the letters o. I stamped the snowflakes from the Season of Joy stamp set on a piece of Bashful Blue card stock and put it where the o should have been. I then added strips of Frosty Day designer series paper. On the top page, I also added an eyelet border and a strip of wide grosgrain ribbon. On the bottom page all that was added was a strip of chocolate chip card stock. The finishing touch on the page was the chocolate chip courduroy buttons.

Another Holiday Scrapbook Page

Here is another Holiday Scrapbook page. This time I grouped all the cards that I got mulitiple photos from a family. I put them on a strip of Kiwi Kiss and put a spiral edge on the left edge. I then laid down a strip of retired Frosty Day designer series paper. I Then die cut the title with my Naturally Serif Sizzlet in Tangerine Tango and the Snowflakes Set #2 with Close to Cocoa card stock. I added a Close to Cocoa button in the center of the snowflake. The finishing touch was the chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon I adhered to the side of the page and the bow I attached with a mini glue dot.

Christmas Scrappin'

I finally had a chance to do some scrapbooking so I completed all my holiday cards I recieved in the mail. Here is a 8 1/2 x 11 double page layout using the Bella Rose Designer Series Paper and the Deer Friends stamp set. I stamped the gingerbread man from the Deer Friend stamp set and punched him out with the 1 1/4" circle punch. I then proceeded to layer him on top of the 1 3/8" circle and the scallop circle punch. A strip of Bella Rose lines the bottom and the top of the pages. A scallop border was made with my slit punch. The greeting I diecut from an old Sizzex alphabet that was available at a recent crop I attended. The finishing touch was the Very Vanilla buttons I attached to the pages.

Inkredible Challenge

This week's challenge was to open up the Stampin' Up! catalog and flip through the catalog and stop on a random page. Pick a project from that page. Now, you need to make the same project but different. What does this mean, you ask?... You can use the sketch with different stamps and colors. or just swap out the colors, but make the project the same as shown. You can also just use the same colors or stamps on your chosen project. So I my project is the scrap page on page 124. (see below for the picture out of the catalog.) The page in the book was an 8x8 but I decided to make an 8 1/2 x11 which left me a little more room for embellishments so it looks slightly different.

So here is my scrapbook page of my nephew on his 1st birthday. I just love this picture of him. I pulled out the retired Creative License scrappin' kit and the Take Note rub-ons. The limited edition and the white cirlce on the bottom come from the rubons. The rest of the paper and the self-adhseive die cuts come from the kit. The only other thing I used was the Wild Wasabi prints designer series paper to make the pocket. I folded over the paper from all three sides to make the pocket and then used my 1" punch to make the opening. The insert, I punched a round tab punch and put a 5/18" silver brad in the center. I also punched two stars with my large and small star punches to put on the page. I also made the one with my On Board Timeless Type chipboard. I sponged on some Blue Bayou ink.
