A Manly Birthday Card

If you are anything like me, you have a hard time coming up with a card idea that you can send to all the men in your life. I hope you can use this card for a little inspiration the next time you sit down to make a card for a man in your life.

I used the horse from the Wanted stamp set. I stamped it in chocolate chip and then stamped the horse again and again without re-inking to make it appear as though there was movement to the horse. I stamped the birthday greeting from Fundamental Phrases.

The background of the card, I stamped the paisleys from the Wanted stamp set and also to give it a weathered look, I stamped the Weathered background right onto of the paisleys and then sponged chocolate chip ink onto the background of the cardstock. The bottom of the card was torn off and then the edge was inked.

After the card stock was torn on the bottom of the brocade blue, I attached a torn piece of chocolate chip to add another dimension to the card on the bottom. The strip in the middle, I thread some natural cord through a jumbo pewter eyelet.
