Inkspriations Color Challenge

Who knew I would do another blue, green and red combo!   I was talking to my friend Colleen and told her she was killing me with the these Inkredible color combinations.   The last two have been those colors.  They are so out of my comfort zone!  So if it is not in your comfort zone, go with it and keep pushing through and creating!

So when I saw this week's Inkspirations color challenge, I wasn't going to do it originally, but I figured why not!

Here is this week's Inkspirations Sketch Challenge.   I have to say I love this sketch.    I had to make a baby card for a little girl who just came into the world and decided to pull out my retired Welcome Little One stamp set for the occasion.

As you all know I can't pass up a sketch challenge!    Here is this week's Inkspriations sketch challenge.   I decided to use the Pennants stamp set and punch as a ice cream cone.   Just one of the many ways this stamp set can be used!

Sunny Fun Inkspirations

Well I really tried to do this week's Inkspirations sketch challenge, but this is as close as I could get to using the sketch.    You would think it would have been easier to use this sketch.   I am happy with the overall result.   I was able to play with the Sunny Fun stamp set.   My friend Colleen had it and we were able to have a stamp play date.

Inkspirations Color Challenge

This week Inkspirations brings us a color challenge.    The colors are Poppy Parade, Baja Breeze, Peach Parfait and Whisper White. 

I decided to make a quick and easy thank you card for the challenge.   I made the card with a set I borrowed from a retired stamp set from my friend Colleen.   What can I say I love summer stamp sets.

How beautiful is this Strength & Hope stamp set.    I love the simple elegance card.    I had to make a few sympathy cards and the card and the images worked beautifully.     The special touch was putting a rhinestone in the center of button.   It was just the extra touch the card needed.    It was also the perfect card for this week's Inkspirations sketch challenge.
