Perfect Together

On one of the craft forums I am on the challenge was to make a Valentine's day card with no hearts or the word love.   I decided to take the challenge and here is my card.   I have a Sizzex I purchased at local craft store that made puzzle pieces.  I had to play with it make it work for me.   The sentiment was printed on card stock.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day to all of you!   I have to say I realy love the Grey and Vanilla Color Combo.  So pretty, so elegant.  I really miss having the Going Gray color in our current collection.  Most of the products are not SU, but the ones that are as follows:  Whisper White Card Stock, Going Gray Ink, Border Banter Stamp Set, Heart Punch and Pearls.

Harley Davidson Inspired Valentine

So I was totally inspired by this card on Pinterest and decided to make my own version of the card.   The card is so masculine, this not your girly valentine.

Inkredible Color Challenge

So I knew I was going to love this week's Inkredible color challenge as soon as I saw the colors.   The colors are:   Primrose Petals, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla.   I saw this sketch on Pinterest and knew I was going to be able finally break in the Hearts a Flutter framelits and stamp set.   With Valentine's around the corner, better late than never.

Valentine Stamping Royalty

So even Stamping Royalty is gearing up for the upcoming holiday.   This week's challenge is Valentines and Love.

So what better for a Valentine's day card than lots of shades of pink and lots and lots of hearts!   The circular shape was made with Circle Cutting System.  I folded the card stock first and then made a cut with my circle system.

10 days until Valentine's Day

So we only have 10 more days until Valentine's Day, are you ready?   Valentine's is the perfect time to create cards.   It takes me back to days of childhood where the homemade valentine's to mom and dad are still the most cherished cards of all.
So here is little owl friend saying owl always love you.  Most of the products are not SU, but the ones that are: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Whisper White Card Stock, Early Espesso, Cherry Cobbler and Pumpkin Pie Ink, Chocolate Chip Brads, Big Shot and Pinking Hearts Border Punch.

You're Just My Type

Here is the typewriter from the You're My Type stamp set.   I just love this typewriter.  Such a great stamp set.    What better than black, white and with a touch of red for a Valentine's Day card.

Here is another Valentine's day card with black as an accent color.   I have to say it perfect for the men in our lives.    Most of the products are not SU except for the Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler and Basic Black card stock and ink as well as the Coluzzle Cutting System.

So are you ready for Valentine's Day.   Here is a card I made I just love, most of the products are not SU, but I was so happy to make a card that didn't use any white cardstock for a change that I wanted to share it with all of you.   The products that are SU are:  Basic Black Satin Ribbon, Antique Brad, Gold Brads, Paper Doily Sizzlet Doily, Big Shot, Basic Black and Sahara Sand Cardstock.

Polka Dot Challenge

This week Stamping Royalty brings us a Polka Dot Challenge.  I saw this card on Pinterest and it was a must for me to recreate with my supplies.   The chevron paper in the upcoming Sale-a-bration brochure was a perfect fit for the card.   I know I have said this before but never throw out die cuts from retired chipboard it makes for the best pattern cutouts.   That is how the heart was made for this project.

Stamping Royalty Sketch Challenge

This week's Stamping Royalty brings us a sketch challenge.  As soon as I saw this sketch I knew that I wanted to use the doilies from the retired Flirtatious designer series paper and the new heart framelit and stamp set from the Hearts a Flutter.  I love this punch art owl.   I found it on Pinterest a while ago and I have to say he is super easy to make and he just makes me smile.    The greeting was printed on card stock and then cut out and attached to the card.   Did you know you can match your font color to exact SU colors.   Check out this great chart.    All you need to do is go into custom tab when you go into change your font colors.  How great is that!

So I earned this hostess set last year and I hardly used it.   I love the little plane and decided to pair it up with some punches I purchased at a local craft store.
