Tinkerbell Birthday Card

Here is another card I made for my niece's birthday. I always need to make two one for me and another for my parents. Just goes to show you how versitile the same stickers and designer series paper are with another sketch! Here is Tinkerbell again with the I heart to stamp sketch.

Accessories: Tinkerbell stickers, Rhinestones and Metal Sheets from a local craft store, Daffodil Delight Satin Ribbon

Tools: Jumbo Oval Punch, Oval Sizzex, Big Shot

As You See It Challenge - Lola's Challenge

I love this week's As You See It Challenge.   It is for a little girl named Lola who is fighting cancer.    She couldn't receive cards in the intensive care unit, so instead they we are creating cards so she can see them virtually.   So the challenge is to create something with some of her favorite things.. think pink, fairies, unicorns, and sugar and spice.

So who is the most famous fairy of all... Tinkerbell.   I was looking through my craft staff and found her and made a card for Lola.   It is actually a funny coincidence.   Just the other day, I got a Facebook memory with a project I made with these stickers.    It was 5 years ago!!  It was a scrapbook wall hanging I made for my niece.  

This is why as scrapbookers are hoarders.   I held onto the remaining stickers for 5 years and today was the first I made another project with them!   I still have two more fairies on the sticker page, let's see how long before I use the remaining ones!!     Click here to see the other Tinkerbell projects I made on my blog!     Here is the wall hanging I made 5 years ago!

The card for Lola is made mostly of the products are not Stampin' Up!   I think the only ones that are is the card stock, rhinestone and twine.   The ink is actually a Green Galore marker!!

One More Card for the Stampin' Royalty Challenge

I have to say I loved last week's Stampin' Royalty Challenge. I was actually able to create another card for the challenge. My niece's 5th birthday is this weekend! Can you believe she is going to be 5. Here is a Tinkerbell card I made for her birthday! I took stickers and put them on a piece of white card stock and then cut it out.

Pixie Dust

I knew I wanted to used my old Tinkerbell stickers and pair them up with The Ink Road Stamps Earresitible sentiment that says all you need is faith trust and pixie dust.    After that I was looking for inspiration on Pinterest for a cute way to pair them up and show case them.    In the end I saw pixie dust as glitter than the shaker card came to life using my old Chucky glitter.    The background was done with Ken Oliver Crafts Color Burst in Pthalo Green and Lemon Yellow.   The shaker was done with my Stitched Rectangles.     Gold Foil and Vellum along with Rhinestones complete the card. 

Two Weeks in a Row

 I am truly honored and grateful to have my cards chosen for the second week in a row as top picks in on my favorite challenge blogs.   Every week I check out what the design teams create with the sketch or challenge and I am blown away by what they create.   So when I say I am honored I truly am.   So much creativity and talent out there and I am always excited to see my projects as top picks.

How a Card becomes more

Well I started out working on the Taylored Expressions sketch challenge this week to make a birthday card for my niece. Well I ended up using so much bling, it hurt me to think the card would just end up in a pile of garbage at the end of the party. So I decided to make it a wall hanging for niece's room. So three projects, same colors and ingredients to make three unique projects! I can't believe how big she is! Time is flying by!
