Lollipop Treats

This week at Stampin' Royalty we are challenging everyone to a Anything Goes challenge.    So just start stamping and submit your creations.    We can't wait to see what you are working on!     Here is my lollipop treats I made for my niece's and nephew's classes.

I was trying to find something that would not take long to make and be minimal in embellishments.    This was what I came up with.

The black piece of card stock has two holes I made with my Crop-a-dile.    The allow the lollipop stick to be thread it through and keeps the lollipop tag/decoration in place without any twine, ribbon or adhesive!

The white piece is I first cut paper strips that were height of the the confetti star punch.     I then punched the starts so that way I had something to hold onto when punching.   Once the stars were punched, then I cut the width.   Then I sponged on some ink.    Stamped the Halloween Cookie Cutter friends, punched and then I cut the sentiment and punched.      Everything was adhered.    The top layer was attached to the black with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Ingredients to make the lollipop treat:
Stamp Sets:   Cookie Cutter Halloween, Cheer All Year
Ink:   Basic Black, Cucumber Crush, Pumpkin Pie
Paper:   Whisper White, Basic Black
Tools:   1" Circle Punch, Cookie Cutter Punch, Confetti Star Punch

Here is one of the Sugar Pea Designs sketches.   I decided to change it up a little bit.   I almost used the sketch and I used the colors from the photo inspiration.

So if you are like me, you probably make a handful of Halloween cards, maybe a scrapbook page or two and some treat bags and then you are done for the Halloween season.   You can't resist all the fun papers and stamp sets, but you find yourself without enough projects to justify your purchases.   In the last couple of years, I have changed my tune and ended up making homemade Halloween decorations.   Over the last couple of years, more and more homemade Halloween projects have made their way into my home for me to display year to year!

Here is a Halloween banner made with lots of fun new stamp sets and designer paper from the new Holiday Mini.

Retro Sketch

This week's Unity challenge is a tag challenge.    I wanted to make a few tags for my nieces and nephews to put on their back to school gift cards.    Thanks to Unity I have a quite a few great school sets and I was happy I was able to use them on this tag elements.

Christmas in July Day 2

Today we come back with another addition to Christmas in July.   I hope you enjoyed yesterday's post and have been looking forward to another day of Christmas project ideas!    The projects you see today are very similar in layout to yesterday's projects.    There were some changes to incorporated to make the projects unique to today's holiday images.

Today's projects incorporate the super cute Foxy Friends stamp set.    I love taking an everyday occasion stamp set and re-purposing to make it a holiday themed project.     The best part of the Foxy Friends stamp set is that there are so many cute little animals you can build and create with the stamp set.    There is of course the fox himself.    Then with all builder stamp sets, you can make a raccoon, cat and of course a reindeer which will be featured on these projects.

Here is my menu card, decor and card projects for today.     Tips and ingredients to make the projects can be found along side the creations.  A link list of all the products can be found at the bottom if you want to gets some of the items and get started yourself on your Christmas projects.

Thank you Paperless Post for challenging and inspiring me to do Christmas in July.   Check out their Christmas cards page for so many amazing designs and creations

Ingredients to make the menu card:
Stamp Sets:   Foxy Friends, Time of Year
Ink:   Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip
Paper:   Whisper White, Old Olive
Accessories:   Bright Enamel Dots
Tools:   Fox Builder Punch
Project Details:   To be able to reindeer in front of the evergreen, I punched out the head and the body with the Fox Builder Punch.    The antlers were stamped directly on the card stock and the body parts were aligned below.

Ingredients to make the wall hanging:
Stamp Sets:   Foxy Friends, Christmas Bliss
Ink   Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Old Olive, Real Red
Paper:  Whisper White, Early Espresso, Neutral Patterns Designer Series Paper Pack
Accessories:   Linen Thread, Burlap Ribbon, Button from a local craft store
Tools:   Layering Circle Framelits, Fox Builder Punch, Blender Pens
Project Details:   The heart shape was a little tricky.    The leaf arches were stamped and then I used the layering circle framelits as a template to make the arches for heart than the rest of the heart was free form cutting.   I wish there was a template that I can share.   Trust me it would have made life for me easier.
Two colors on the sentiment were done by stamping the sentient in Crumb Cake ink first.   Then with my blender pen I pulled off the ink on the trees.   Then with my Stampin' Write marker I added the green ink for the trees.   The same technique was done on the leaf arches to add red for holly berries.

Ingredients to make the Christmas card:
Stamp Sets:   Foxy Friends, Christmas Bliss
Ink   Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Old Olive
Paper:  Whisper White, Early Espresso, Neutral Patterns Designer Series Paper Pack
Accessories:   Linen Thread, Bright Enamel Dots
Tools:   Fox Builder Punch, Blender Pens, Triple Banner Punch, Project Life Corner Rounder
Project Details:    To get the two strands of linen thread across the top, I took two strands of thread and attached them to the back of the card.   I covered up the thread being adhered with card stock.   Not only do I get two strips of thread on the front, but I save in linen thread by only having it appear in front.    It also gives me more control with the thread.    Adding a bow to the front is easier than tying a box with the entire ribbon strand.

Ingredients to make the second card:
Stamp Sets:   Foxy Friends, Christmas Bliss
Ink   Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Old Olive
Paper:  Whisper White, Early Espresso, Neutral Patterns Designer Series Paper Pack
Accessories:   Linen Thread, Bright Enamel Dots
Tools:   Fox Builder Punch, Blender Pens, Project Life Corner Rounder, Triple Banner Punch, Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
Project Details:   To give the wood grain textured background, run the embossing folder through the Big Shot.    It gives texture and detail to an ordinary piece of card stock.

Ingredients to make the cupcake holder:
Stamp Sets:   Foxy Friends,
Ink   Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Old Olive
Paper:  Whisper White Neutral Patterns Designer Series Paper Pack
Tools:   Fox Builder Punch, Blender Pens, Layering Oval Framelits
Project Details:  Click here to choose a cupcake template that will work for your project.
