Halloween Banner
So if you are like me, you probably make a handful of Halloween cards, maybe a scrapbook page or two and some treat bags and then you are done for the Halloween season. You can't resist all the fun papers and stamp sets, but you find yourself without enough projects to justify your purchases. In the last couple of years, I have changed my tune and ended up making homemade Halloween decorations. Over the last couple of years, more and more homemade Halloween projects have made their way into my home for me to display year to year!
Here is a Halloween banner made with lots of fun new stamp sets and designer paper from the new Holiday Mini.
Ingredients to make the card:
Stamp Sets: Spooky Fun, Cookie Cutter Halloween
Ink: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie Blendabilites
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Black Baker's Twine, White Perfect Accents colored in with a Black Sharpie, Bright Enamel Dots, Clothspins
Tools: Pennant Framelits, Perfect Pennants Sizzex, Cookie Cutter Punch

New Challenge
We just started another creative challenge within our Stampin' Up! group this one will challenge us to use different products, card sketches. The first one is to use our Home Decor vinyl art. Well I was shopping in Home Goods and found these great little candles on clearance. I decided to dress them up. So I took my Chocolate Decor Elements Sheet and punched out Hearts from our new Heart to Heart punch. Yes, this a little sneak peak into the Spring Summer Idea Book & Catalog!!! It was so easy to do, just punch, peel and apply to the candles.
Click here to see what my friend Kelly made for the challenge. It is absolutely beautiful. Look how quickly the everyday just was spiced up.
