Pumpkin Spice

Pumpkin Spice season is slowly coming to end.    I can't believe we are on our way to December and snowflakes!   I am not ready for the weather to change.    We have had such a mild fall season.    I love this sentiment that comes with my favorite Unity stamp set.   Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice.

Here is one of first attempts at a mixed media card.   Not sure if it was a true mixed media card or close to it, but I did attempt it and I was happy with the end result.

Ink:   Soft Sky, Basic Black, Copic Markers and Blendabilites
Paper:   Early Espresso and Designer Series Paper from a local craft store
Accessories:   Burlap Ribbon and Enamel Dots from a local craft store

So how fun is this sentiment from The Haunt It stamp set from The Project Bin.

Lollipop Treats

This week at Stampin' Royalty we are challenging everyone to a Anything Goes challenge.    So just start stamping and submit your creations.    We can't wait to see what you are working on!     Here is my lollipop treats I made for my niece's and nephew's classes.

I was trying to find something that would not take long to make and be minimal in embellishments.    This was what I came up with.

The black piece of card stock has two holes I made with my Crop-a-dile.    The allow the lollipop stick to be thread it through and keeps the lollipop tag/decoration in place without any twine, ribbon or adhesive!

The white piece is I first cut paper strips that were height of the the confetti star punch.     I then punched the starts so that way I had something to hold onto when punching.   Once the stars were punched, then I cut the width.   Then I sponged on some ink.    Stamped the Halloween Cookie Cutter friends, punched and then I cut the sentiment and punched.      Everything was adhered.    The top layer was attached to the black with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Ingredients to make the lollipop treat:
Stamp Sets:   Cookie Cutter Halloween, Cheer All Year
Ink:   Basic Black, Cucumber Crush, Pumpkin Pie
Paper:   Whisper White, Basic Black
Tools:   1" Circle Punch, Cookie Cutter Punch, Confetti Star Punch

Happy birthday

How super easy and simple is this week's Pals Paper Arts sketch of the week.   If you haven't noticed I always take the easy and make it a little more complicated!

I decided to change it up a little bit, but the best part of the card was being able to use the Hello You Thinlits.   They are a little on the large side, so it is always a challenge to use them in a project.   In the end I am happy with the end result a fall birthday card,

Thankful for You

This week we are taking a little break at Stampin' Royalty.   So that doesn't mean take a break.   Just because we are giving you a challenge to work on doesn't mean no crafting.    Pull out your supplies and just start creating.    We all have things we are always saying we are meaning to play with something.    No reason to wait, just start playing.

I decided to pull out my favorite little owl and start creating.   I just love this little guy.    I used the Taylored Expression sketch of the week.    Love the fall inspirational photo and the sketch is just so fun.
