Christmas in July Scrapbook Page

This week's color challenge is Old Olive, Certianly Celery and Real Red. So I decided to play with my new hostess exclusive stamp set, Deer Friends and make a Christmas scrapbook page. First I punched squares with my 3/4" square punch in the three colors and lined them up across the page. The next thing I did was stamp the images from the set and punch them out with my 1" circle punch and attached them to the page with Stampin' Dimensionals. Next, I stamped another tree image with my Stampin' Write markers and punched out circles and the scallop circle punches and layered the images along with a little paper piercing. Next, I stamped the greeting from our Heard from the Heart stamp set that will be available August 10th. The finishing touches was the hodgepodge hardware and the wide certainly celery grosgrain ribbon. Make sure to check out the following links for more ideas using the color combos of the week: Colleen, Debbie, Lorraine, Kelly, Chris, Traci, Dana and Tracy.
