Latest Craft Organization

So I am super excited to share with you my latest craft organization.  I love this cart I got on Amazon.   So easy to assemble and it has a place for everything I need all the time.  3 slots for paper and tools.  Actually 6 since you can get to it from both sides.   Bottom shelf for my Stampin' Blends at the moment.   The top is for craft tools.    Super slim and perfect for everything I need to access.    Big thumbs from me!!   

 

Seaside Wishes Scrapbook Page

So here is my last project today made with so many familar products that were already showcased today.  

I used the product trio from Seaside Wishes, stamp set, dies and embossing folder.   The designer series paper is Flowering Fields and Peaceful Poppies.   The title was die cut with Mini Alphabet dies.   I love this die.   With one turn all the letters of the alphabet are die cut and you just put them together for your project.

Seaside Wishes Bookmark

So I have come to learn I can never have enough bookmarks.  I have at least 4 books I have started and not finished.   I have every ambition to start and now I just get so sleepy when I start reading.   

Since I had all the supplies out with the Seaside Wishes stamp set, die and embossing folder, I made a bookmarked with the supplies.   The designer series paper is Peaceful Poppies and the sentiment comes from the Timeless Tropical set.

 

Seaside Wishes

So I have come to a time in my life when I am going to more funerals than I like to.   So having a few extra sympathy cards on hand are helpful.   

I decided to use the Seaside Wishes dies and embossing folder for today's project.    I found this perfect striped designer series paper from my stash Peaceful Poppies that was just perfect.   The border was die cut with Basic Borders die.    The sentiment comes the retired Loving Thoughts stamp set.   The finishing touch was matte dots and baker's twine. 

 

Beach Days

I am excited to get started on beach days scrapbook pages.   Here is the first of many.   There are so many past and present stamp sets, dies and designer series papers that I have in my collection that will work beach days.  

Here is my nephew at the beach from a few years ago.  He is so much taller now.   He is up to my chin now.

Under the Moon

Found some time to craft today.  Between the humidity and the heat, it isn't always easy to get inspired.    

When I saw the beautiful Under the Moon stamp set, I couldn't wait to bring the colors to life.   I saw a cotton candy beach scene and was inspired to bring these colors to my project.    Colors used were. Crushed Curry, Primrose Petals and Coastal Cabana.   

 The sentiment comes from In the Moment.  DSP is from the retired Beautiful Bijou.   Iridescent Facet Gems complete the project.  

 

I love Stampin' Up!

A few more projects to complete for today.     Hope you are enjoying my craft projects that I am catching up on posting.   Last February, I lost my dad to brain cancer.    It has been an eventful year, so many firsts without him.   The hardest part was watching my mom go through this journey that I already faced.   I lost my boyfriend six years ago to the same cancer.   It was the hardest thing to do was to keep moving forward when the person you use to do everything was no longer there.      I have tried to make this transition as easy as I can on my mom.    I have been by her side the entire step of the way.      

My dad has been testing me and see if I am for the challenge.    My dad was Mr. Fix it.    He built my home from scratch.    He did the structure, the masonry, the plumbing, electrical, all of it.     In the past year, we have had to replace the dryer, the roof and heating system and fix the cars, hot water tank and the air conditioning system.   I keep going come on dad!  I am handling what life is coming my way, but I could use a break.    I love creating but life has been keeping me busy so I haven't had time to post as quickly as I would have liked.  

So hopefully going forward you will see more projects coming your way.    There are so many amazing products that Stampin' Up! has brought to us.   I can't wait to sit and start scrapbooking more of the amazing photos I have captured throughout the years.   After 20 years, I have enough supplies to open my own craft store, but what I love the most is someone asking do you have ( fill in the blank )  and yes I do.    Let me go get it for you or let me create this for you.    I love being a part of Stampin' Up!   what an amazing journey it has been.    I love the friendships I have made and the people I have meet but the best part is the healing that creativity brings me.  

     

 

Birthday Sparkle Kit

If you are ever wondering if you should get a kit or not, always say yes especially if it is a birthday one!    I needed to make 80th birthday cards.    I had to make three of them for the same person.   One from me, one from mom and then another from my sister.    The Birthday Sparkle kit was just perfect for this occasion and I have supplies for future cards!!!   I pullled out some retired designer series paper for the gold accents and it was perfect. 
 

Halloween Scrapbooking

Every time I scrapbook, I am realize how much I enjoy seeing my photos paired up with my stamping and scrapbooking smiles.    As much I love making projects to give to others I know with scrapbooking future generations will get to see these pages.

Fall Projects

Looking through projects I have been able to get to blog about.    Here are some cards made with the Cheers for the Season and the Pick of the Patch stamp sets and the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks.   Even thought the sets are retired.   I hope they inspire you to create and pull out the sets and the masks!      

 

Lots of Projects!

So I may not always be right on top of things when it comes to posting and blogging but I am always creating.     When it comes to an occasion or if someone needs projects for a school event, I am the family got to person.  

The first two were done for a school events.   I used whatever what was in my craft stash to make to create!    Usually I am told last minute something is needed so I am in frenzy looking through my craft room looking what will give the biggest wow with the least amount of work and can be done quickly.    That means delicious designer series paper that I have been holding on forever or using retired big shot dies to die cut letters or even border punches that have not been for sale in years in our local craft store. 

This project was for my friend's grandson first birthday.    Yes you read that grandson.   My friends are now grandma's.     The theme was race cars and so this is what I came up.    Can you believe we don't have many race car papers and stamp sets!    Stampin' Up!   I think we need to do something about this!

This was totally just a computer project.    I used regular copy paper to do this since I wanted it be easy to wrap around the eraser.

Congratulations Julie

It's been a whirlwind of emotions watching the end of my Julie Beans senior year and her growing into a beautiful super talented smart and driven young lady. 4th in her class, straight A's all four years. Captain of the swim team, Dance 14 years and taking AP and college courses. Taking Calculus in High School and getting an A! She got accepted to 6 amazing top notched universities and decided to make her Texas A&M her home for next couple of years. So proud of her and beautiful woman she has become. Love you!!

Here are some projects I made for the occasion. One was a scrapbook page of all the universities she was accepted to. I wanted to let her know how incredibly proud I was of her accomplishments. Next was of course graduation cards made with the beautiful Cap & Gown stamp set. Lastly, it wasn't handmade by me, but it was definitely something that brought a smile to my face. It was a graduation cap accessory that I bought online. It was angel wings. I was able to put a picture of my dad and her grandmother from her mom's side. She lost both grandparents in 2023 only one month apart. They were her biggest supporters and I know they were both up there cheering her on. I know because we kept seeing Texas signs from up above. The most loud and clear was my mom getting a spam call from Texas on the way to the graduation!

 

Celebrating 20 years

Today I celebrate 20 years with Stampin' Up! Best decision I ever made. So many amazing friendships made and people meet. So many hours bonding over crafting and learning new techniques. Conventions, Stampin' Success, Stampers Showcase, Paper Crafts, Creating Keepsakes, Color Refreshes, In Colors, Fiskateers, Dylusions, Martha Stewart, Anw Crestwood, Ek Success, Scrapbook Expo, All Day Crops, Stampin' Royalty, The Project Bin, Inkredible Family Fall Fest, Spring Fling. The list goes on and on.

What an amazing journey. The best part is creativity has always been there to heal me in my life when I needed it the most along with the friends I meet. Miss seeing some of my Stampin' Sisters but I wouldn't have missed any of it. Here are some of favorite memories and projects close to my heart.

They won their Basketball Championship at the end of season!

Here is a treat tag I made for her friends. It was a smorgasbord of sporting stamp sets from the past. The best thing is that the girls could use it as a bookmarker when they were done. I also made some thank you cards for the coaches.

 

Happy 16th birthday Michael

Happy 16th birthday Michael!! I did a photo tribute for Julie's sweet 16. I decided to turn March Madness sweet 16 bracket for Michael's photo tribute through the years for his 16th birthday.

It was a little bit of work, I needed to get a clear image to be able to do this so they can print in large format at Staples.   With a little bit work, I created this masterpiece in Excel.   Thank God for my attention to detail, my years as a computer tech and a whole lot of patience!!!

Craft Room Organization

Took a little bit of work but here is my craft room organization. Now hopefully my creative mojo comes back. Love my Ikea Khalix perfect for my 12x12 paper organization. I even made a little pennant and pom pom's to decorate my new area. I also showcased some of my favorite projects throughout the years to help me be inspired.

I also added my past organization photo and the creative craziness where you dump everything to organize and then have the though what was I thinking!!!!

35 for 35!

Can I just say I love Stampin' Up!! I attended another fabulous 35 for 35 event today organized by Hannah Byrd!! She brought all of us North(ish) Jersey SU Demonstrators together gave us a place to connect and share our love of stamping. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Hannah for making this happen.

At each of these events Stampin' Up! picks one card to bring to the home office and today Brian Pilling choose mine!!! I am so honored. As you can see behind Brian is a scrapbook page of me and my dad. I brought my scrapbooks today to share and it reminded me of what had me start this journey. Time to start scrapping more. Thank you to all the generosity of the demonstrators in attendance. It was an amazing event.
