Bring on the Boos!

Last week at Casing the Catalog we challenge everyone to case their favorite Christmas card from the holiday mini.   I decided to take the opportunity and case my favorite Halloween card today!   On page 48, I drew inspiration from the great Boos card.

Eat Drink & Be Scary

Are you looking for a last minute scary idea to dress up your home for Halloween or just looking for inspiration for a last minute project.    Here is a super simple project.    The hardest part was tying the bows on the wire hanging!

Halloween is on it's way

Halloween is on it's way.   So here are two super simple tags you can make!   This is why I love the Tasteful Trim Sizzex.   Stampin' Up! please bring it back or make another trim Sizzex board!    The best part of the Sizzex was that because of the big die you could lay 3 strip of 12 inch strips and then die cut.    That gave you borders for at least 9 cards.   So here I used it make a chevron border for my tags.

I love my coffee cards and I have to credit Brian King for pairing up the Brew up a little fun sentiment from the Tee-Hee-Hee stamp with the Perfect Blend.   I saw his card and knew I had to make my own Halloweeny coffee cup!

Large Gift Box

So here's the biggest gift box you can make with the gift box punch board.   Super cute!   I can see so many great gift boxes in my future!   Quick and easy and they look fabulous!   My favorite part of the gift box was my black Sharpie colored pearls.   It was the perfect touch to the project.

Boo!

Halloween is on it's way!   Here is an old favorite Halloween Hello.   I just love all the cute little images in this retired stamp set.   I heat emboss those skulls and I love how they pop on the Old Olive card stock

Lovin' the Gift Box Punch Board

I am lovin' the new gift box punch board.   Here is one of the smallest boxes you can make with the gift boxes.   Just like with any punch board, the visual of what the box should look like after all the punching and scoring is on the punch board.   The one thing I missed after doing the box was the additional punch that needed to make.   Once I saw that the box came together easily.

How cute is the little treat box for Halloween goodies.    Just add ribbon and a tag and you are on your way.

So I saw this great stamp set at a local expo and just had to get it.     The Wizard of Oz is one of my favorite movies and I just love the quote.   "Don't Make Me Get My Flying Monkeys" 

So I couldn't wait to make a Halloween card with this quote.   This week's My Favorite Things sketch was a perfect opportunity to make the card.

Different Twist on This Week's Sketch

This week Stampin' Royalty brings us a sketch challenge.  So I decided to do another take on this week's sketch.  I put the pennants on a gift package.   I found these great Mike & Ike candies.    How great is the vampire on these boxes.    It coordinated perfectly with the Merry Everything stamp set!   I drew out the colors from the box images for the tag for inspiration.

I have to say the Tee-Hee-Hee stamp set is one of my favorites from the Holiday Mini.    The best part of the stamp set is all the amazing sentiments.    How great is Whether you're a good witch or a bad witch it's all about the shoes!!
