Caseing the Catty Let's Kit Together

We are now blog hopping at Caseing the Catty.   So hop with us from one design team member to the next. I hope you can join us in the hop and enjoy all the beautiful creations that we case (copied and steal everything) from the Holiday Mini.   This week we are challenge everyone to case a project from the fabulous kits that are in the Holiday Mini.   So Let's Kit Together.

I was inspired by one of the tags in the Oh What Fun Tag Project Kit.    I don't usually do a lot tags and when I do.   I usually find one design really easy and it has a to and from on it.    It doesn't have much detail since I know for sure that it will end up in the pile of Christmas paper wrapping!

So I took the tag and made it into a tag to put on a wine bottle.      I scored the top and punched a hole to be able to put the bottle through it.

The jingle bells were attached by two holes made with a Crop-a-dile.   I strung the jingle bells on baker's twine and then thread them through the holes.   The satin ribbon was placed underneath and was secured with the baker's twine.

If you have been following the hop, you just came from Rebecca Benson and the next stop in the hop is Rachel Palmieri.

Ingredients to make the tag:
Stamp Sets:   Cheerful Tags
Ink:  Real Red
Paper:   Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper, Whisper White
Accessories:   Real Red Satin Ribbon, Home for Christmas Enamel Dots, Whisper White Baker's Twine, Jingle Bells from a local craft store
Tools:  1 3/8" Circle Punch, Triple Banner Punch, Crop-a-dile

I decided to use the Mint Macaron and Cucumber Crush.    I pulled out the trees from the Happy Scenes and used them as the focal for the card.    If you look closely, I stamped in the background the Work of Art brush strokes to add dimension.   I used a Retro Sketch of the week for the inspiration for the card design.
