Martha Stewart

Last year, I had the opportunity to be on the Martha Stewart show as a guest blogger.   I had an amazing time and I have lots of great photos from the day.   This week's Scrapbook News & Review had the best color combo that was just perfect for me to put a scrapbook page with photos from the day.    If you want to read and see more from my visit to the Martha set, click here to see all the blog posts that I captured the day of the event.

Most of the products on the page are not SU, but the ones that are So Saffron and Calypso Coral Prints Designer Series Paper, Whisper White and Basic Black card stock, So Saffron Grosgrain Ribbon and Button.

One more post for today.

Thanks to my new friend, Judy O'Donnell I am able to post another great pictures from today's show.   Thank you Judy!

10/5/2011 Update - - Just posted the official picture from the Martha Stewart website.   Click here to see it!!!

Here is another group shot of all the bloggers in today's show.

Here is a picture of the whole set.   I am on the right hand side, 2nd row from front in the aisle!  You can see my blue computer screen open.

So a few more updates from the Martha show

Well I am home and now I can give a quick recount without trying to balance my laptop on my lap along with my camera and all while trying to smile for the tv camera.    It was an amazing show.   Lots of great ideas on the show.   I have to say I am loving the idea of making pie pops similar with cake pops.   Very cute.

It's amazing how much gets done in between commercial breaks.   Tables get moved in and out. the crew is just amazing.

Click here to see a link to today's show details.

Click here to see my photo album on Facebook and see all the pictures I took on today's show.

Here I am with all the plants.   Yes, they are all real.   My mom would love this!!

Here is Jody Levine's niece, Piper with Martha showing how to use the stencils.    She is quite the little entrepeneur.   Can you believe she made over 300$ at a craft show!    Here they are getting ready to do the stenciling part of the show.

Here is the stenciling segment of the show. How cute are these umbrellas!!

Here is the before and after of the vampire bat pinata.   Let's just say the vampire bat pinata is a little more sturdier than it looks. I swear they must have been hitting it a million times!

NJScrappers group in the audience...    They are sitting in the last row.

Martha taking question and answers from the audience after the show.   Look at those heels!

Craft blogger photo, not the best.  I asked someone from the audience to take the picture, but Colleen ended getting cut out.  : (   Very sad, but there is way too many people moving around on the stage.   Let's just say you got to be quick with the camera.  When the official shot gets released I'll make sure to get it on the blog and of course in a scrapbook page.

Here is Colleen in the second row blogging on her iPhone.

Holy Martha craft giveaway.    We got the ultimate goodie bag from Martha.   We got an extra goodies for being craft bloggers!    Thank you Martha!!  I can't wait to start creating!

Heading home, more to come...

Heading home, check back this afternoon for more pictures and updates.

Back in Business...

Sorry for the delay in blogging, the best laid plans and my computer hung up, so I had to reboot my computer.   lol

It is so amazing seeing everything from the audience perspective.   We have 5 cameras.    Just finished making beautiful vampire bats for pinatas and now great individual pies from Dani Cone...

We got to do studio tour, so there is lots of pictures to come.

All reved up

The crowd is getting all reved up giving us the play by play of what is going to happen and let us know what to expect.    This is the first show of CRAFT WEEK!!!   Sounds like a great show lined up.... free goodies, apple cheddar rosemary pie, stenciling and bat pinata....

Good Morning from the Martha show

Good Morning Everyone!   Well me and Colleen were up at the crack of dawn and we drove into the Big Apple to get to the Martha show.   Here is the area we gathered in this morning before going into the live audience.    We meet up with some NJScrappers.   NJScrappers is a Yahoo group that brings all scrapbookers in the NJ area together.     Here are some early morning pics, stay tuned for more...

On the Martha Stewart Show

Very exciting!!!  I am going to be on the Martha Stewart show on Monday morning, October 3rd.    The show will feature a segment on craft blogging and I will be blogging live from the show along with Colleen Benedetto and 8 other craft bloggers.

So make sure you set your DVR's so you don't miss the show!   Click here to find where and what time the Martha show is playing in your next of the woods!

Also make sure you stop by my blog and Facebook page on Monday for my live updates from the show!!

Here is a witchy hat that I made as a special gift to give the day of the Martha show.   Most of the products are from a local craft store.    The embellishment was of course made with our amazing punches, scoring tool and circle cutter!
