Marvelous Sixty

Yesterday, we celebrated my mom's 60th birthday!   Yes, I have a very young mommy.  She is the best friend and mommy anyone can ask for.    I was all set to pull out my Simple Numbers Sizzex and make a card with 60 as the main theme, bu that would not be her. 

I decided on a more vintage and more floral card for her.    She loves her flowers and her plants.

Stamping Royalty Recipe Challenge

This week Stamping Royalty brings you a Recipe Challenge.    The recipe this week is  LET'S FLY AWAY! - To comemorate Spring we're featuring Birds this week.

So I pulled out the bird cage from the Occasions Mini stamp set, Nature Walk and then small little bird from the Bliss Salabration stamp set.     I have to say I love the striking colors I put in this card, Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler.

All Star Candy Boxes

How cute are these gift boxes.    I found these great chocolate wrapped up in soccer balls, baseballs, footballs and basketballs.

How great are these fun gifts for Father's Day and for end of year thank you gifts for coaches.

The box was super easy to make.   I took a 10" x 4.75" piece of paper.    I scored at 3.25", 4.75", 8" and 9.5".   Then I flipped the paper to it's side and scored at 3.25".

Occasions Mini Coming to an End

We are coming to an end with the Occasions Mini catalog.    Only one week left.   Here is one of those items that you would miss if you weren't looking for it.   We have spinner hands along with a coordinating stamp set.    I decided just to get the spinner hands and make my own spinning choices what better than drinks! 

My Goddaughter just turned 21 and this is the card I made for her.   I can't believe she is 21, I can still remember holding her in my arms.

Stamping Royalty Goddess

I am very excited to announce that I have been chosen to be a design team member of the Stamping Royalty. What a great way to start off my 7th year anniversary with Stampin' Up! 7 years Stampin' Up!


Wednesday, March 30th , will be 7 year anniversary with Stampin' Up! I can't believe it's been 7 years. So many wonderful things have come to me and have happened in that period of time. I have to say it is by far one of the best decisions I have ever made. So many friendships have been made in that time. I can't imagine what life was before homemade cards and cherished scrapbook pages were brought into my life. Never underestimate what a homemade item will bring into your life.

Here is my second favorite Sizzex die that we have come out with recently. This is our amazing Petal Cone die. It is so easy to overlook it in our Occasions Mini, but by far one of the most versatile. You are going to see many, many more projects using this project. I have just scratched the surface on using it. I have seen so many great ideas. Here is a super simple project with such a wow factor.

Stamping Royalty Bliss


So when I sat down to work on this week's Stamping Royalty sketch the only thing I knew is I wanted to make a card with one of our fabulous Sale-a-bration stamp sets before they are no longer available. Then I pulled out this beautiful Springtime Vintage designer series paper. After that the card came together so quickly and beautifully. If you haven't tried creating a card with a sketch, you just have to try it! It really does make it so easy to put a card together and it completely takes you out of your comfort zone.

The flower in the center of the card I cut out from the designer series paper and attached it to the center with Stampin' Dimensionals.
