Happy World Card Making Day

I am so excited, it is World Card Making Day. So many exciting things happening on the Paper Crafts and the Moxie Fab World blogs and Facebook pages! Lots of giveaways, project inspirations, blog hop and contests. So check it out.

Teri Anderson posted a great challenge on the Paper Crafts Facebook page. The challenge is to make a thank you card using orange and yellow. There is a great prize. Lots of ribbons and embellishments. The ribbon is SU satin ribbon. So get those creative juices going and post your creation on the Facebook page.

Here's my orange and yellow creation. I was inspired by Creations by Patti's candy corns. I love how the Pawsitively Prints II Designer Series Paper coordinates so nicely with those colors. I made a variation of the 2-4-6-8 box and a thank you card. The box dimensions are a little crazy otherwise I would share them with all of you.

So pull out your paper, ink, embellishments and tools and get make a homemade card for someone you love.

So here's my card and gift box and the ingredients to make them:
Stamp Sets: Got Treats, Three Little Words
Ink: Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight
Paper: Pawsitively Prints II Designer Series Paper, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango
Accessories: Dusty Durango Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon (retired)
Tools: Crop-a-dile, Scallop Border Punch, Big Shot, Scallop Squares Duo, Corner Rounder
