Mother's Day

We are now blog hopping at Caseing the Catty.   So hop with us from one design team member to the next.   I hope you can join us in the hop and enjoy all the beautiful creations that we case (copied and steal everything) from the Occasions Mini.    This week we are casing the Mother's Day section of the Occasions Mini.

I was completely drawn to the Mother's Day journal on page 36. The colors, the florals, just beautiful.   I decided instead of a journal to make it a gift bag.

So here is my gift bag with a mix of old and new Stampin' Up! products.   I was so happy to use retired Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper.

If you have been following the hop, you just came from Rebecca Scurr and the next stop in the hop is
the Alison Barclay

Ingredients to make the gift bag:
Stamp Sets:  My Mother, Flower Patch
Ink:  Basic Black, Summer Starfruit, Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe
Paper:  Whisper White, Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper, Gold Foil Vellum, Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper
Accessories:   Pearls colored with Black Sharpies, Gold Sequins, Crisp Cantaloupe Baker's Twine

This is so cute!!...I had to look twice at your flower stamp and then I read that it was Flower Patch....I think it is great that you've used the often ignored little stamps from that set. Great work! :)

Yay! I am loving your use of Sweet Sorbet on the bag. You have inspired me to make sometihng like this for my mum instead of wrapping it.
