Happy Love Day

If you have little ones, you might have seen the Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood episode that celebrate's Happy Love Day!   My niece says Happy Love Day all the time, so I decided to make a card that say's just that!    This week's Paper Craft Crew sketch was the perfect for my Love Day card.

The sentiment was pieced together with three stamp sets:  Party with Cake, Snuggles and Smooches, and Party Wishes.

Valentine Fun

Here are some tags I made for my niece and nephew for Valentine's Day.    I decided to personalize the gift tags for each of their gifts.    So we have a princess and Lego maniac.    I actually have to say I love the way these gift tags came out.

I also had a little fun and made some tags to add to some Sweet Valentine treats.  

Tags are so easy to make and they make any gift look homemade.

Not Just for Christmas

So if you were like me, you fell in love with the Under the Tree Specialty Designer Series Paper.    Now that the holidays are over there are so many ways you can use the beautiful color palette in your day to day projects.

I love the Baked Brown Sugar in the Under the Tree Specialty Designer Series Paper color scheme.    So rich so beautiful.

Love You

Even though it is not my week to create a design team project for Casing the Catty.  I could not pass up the opportunity to join in the challenge.    This week's challenge is:   Occasions Inspiration – CASE a project from the VALENTINES section.

How great is the scrapbook page on page 4.   I love the watercolor background.   That ended up being my favorite part of the page and recreating on my page.    So simple to do but such an effective background.  I took my ink refill and put a few drops in a container and added some water.    So now I have my ink ready.   I used my Aqua Pinter and just water colored my paper.

To Die For

So this week's Stampin' Royalty challenge is To DIE FOR - Get creative with your dies!

So I don't think I got too creative with my dies, but I tried.   I die cut the heart and the xoxo with one turn of the big shot.   So the heart has the xoxo cut out in the center.  I then applied with my glue pen added the to centers of the o.

Happy Valentine's Day

How great is this week's Pals Paper Arts sketch.   As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to create a card with it!   I actually ended up making two projects with the sketch.   One was with SU products, the second was just playing with lots of fun products I have accumulated over time.    I needed to make a tag to put on my niece's Valentine's day bag.    So the camouflage hearts stickers were a perfect match to the bag.

As for the card, I was most excited to have a great sketch that allowed me to use my Good Greetings stamp set!

Crazy About You

So here are some of my favorite things from the Occasions Mini, Crazy About You stamp set, Hello You thinlits and the super fun Stacked With Love designer series paper.   Love the colors in this new fun designer series paper.   Who would have thought Crisp Cantaloupe and Real Red would look so great together.   I love how this card came together!

Glitter!!

 This week Stampin' Royalty is having us play with glitter!!!    It was one of those days, it was hot and I just did not want to play with glitter.    So I poked around in my scrap bin of pieces I have punched, stamped out or cut that I just didn't have the heart to throw in the trash and I found these glitter hearts I made a while ago.   The glitter hearts were made with a layer of versamark, then heat & stick powder, heat embossing, then dazzling diamonds followed by heat embossing to keep it in place.
