Sunshine Sayings and Wishes

Here is a sneak peak into one of the beautiful new stamp sets and coordinating framelits.     It is the Sunshine Sayings stamp set and the the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits.

I love the 4 words that come withe Sunshine Wishes Thinlits, sunshine, congrats, love and hope.   Such a pretty font!

I had a few thank you and thinking of you cards I needed to get and once I started I didn't realize how easy and beautiful the cards would be.

Not only is the word beautiful when you die cut, it is just as wonderful when you use the negative.

Friends

Love the Woodgrain Neutral challenge this week at Fusion.    The best part of the challenge I was able to incorporate the color scheme into creating a long overdue scrapbook page with me and my best friends.    Best friends certainly think alike, we were at a scrapbook crop and all three of us wore the same shirt and we didn't even plan it!!

The best part of the page was I was able to use 6x6 paper packs that I purchased for the layout.

Dream

Happy New Year!    So I was inspired by a shirt I saw when I was Christmas shopping for my niece.    The shirt had some feathers in multicolors layered with gold lettering!     Wow what a eye catching design!

So I sponged on the colors and then die cut.

Here is one of the many goals for the year!   Dream the impossible dream and take steps to move closer to the that dream every day!

Joy Peace Love

I really love the Fusion challenge this month.    The colors, the sketch and all the amazing inspiration from the challenge team.   Amazing job Fusion team, click here to check out their inspiration.

I was inspired by Sandie Munro's card.    Love the holly leaves.   It actually inspired me to use my Layered Letters Alpha.   I love the way this card came together.

Happy Birthday

The challenge this week at Casing the Catty is be inspired by a project from the Sale-a-bration Brochure and use Blendabilities and Framelit Dies in your project

So how great is the birthday card found on page 13 of the Sale-a-bration brochure.    I love the glittery dots in the background of the card!     To make them I used the Heat and Stick powder.   I applied some Versamark to Pink Pirouette card stock, next came the Heat & Stick powder and then some heat with the Heat gun.   Next came the Dazzling Diamonds glitter with some more heat from the Heat Gun.

I have to say I really like the colors in this week's Stampin' Royalty challenge.   The red with grey is a great color combination.  My eyes were drawn to the ampersand in the photo as well.

Love You

Even though it is not my week to create a design team project for Casing the Catty.  I could not pass up the opportunity to join in the challenge.    This week's challenge is:   Occasions Inspiration – CASE a project from the VALENTINES section.

How great is the scrapbook page on page 4.   I love the watercolor background.   That ended up being my favorite part of the page and recreating on my page.    So simple to do but such an effective background.  I took my ink refill and put a few drops in a container and added some water.    So now I have my ink ready.   I used my Aqua Pinter and just water colored my paper.

Stampin' Royalty Color Challenge

This week Stampin' Royalty brings us a color challenge.   The colors this week are:   Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler and Meadow Moss.    I don't know if you are like me, but I think I am finished with Christmas projects.    So when I saw the colors I knew I wanted to think outside the box and come up with a card that was not holiday inspired.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!    Hope everyone has a great day with the family and friends.

Here is a mix of some old, some new and some favorites.    I love the Expression Thinlits from last year's holiday mini.   What can I say I am word girl.   Here it is paired up with the Good Greetings stamp set and  I have to say they work perfectly together.   I picked up these great enamel dots at a local craft store and they were a perfect match to my card.

Holiday Wall Hanging

 Do you need a some new Holiday decorations?   Why not make something to hang on a door or a wall in your home.   Here is some chipboard decorated.    The cardboard flower was made by cutting a toliet paper roll.

Casing the Catty and Inkredible Color Challenge

 This week's Inkredible color challenge is:   Pear Pizzazz, Lost Lagoon and Soft Sky.    I decided to combine this week's color combo with a caseing the catty challenge.   If you look closely on page 96 there is a beautiful card pinned to the bulletin board.   I decided to use the sketch of the card as inspiration for today's card.

Make a Card to Someone You are Thankful for

This week's Inkredible color challenge is  Tangelo Twist, Cajun Craze, Hello Honey, Early Espresso.   As soon I saw the colors I knew a Thankgsiving card was on the agenda, but I think I have enough Thanksgiving cards for time being.  Then I remembered the Falling for You sentiment that I had in my box of crafty goodies and decided to make a card with that as the focus.

Halloween is on it's way



Halloween is on it's way.   So here are two super simple tags you can make!   This is why I love the Tasteful Trim Sizzex.   Stampin' Up! please bring it back or make another trim Sizzex board!    The best part of the Sizzex was that because of the big die you could lay 3 strip of 12 inch strips and then die cut.    That gave you borders for at least 9 cards.   So here I used it make a chevron border for my tags.

For All Things Scrapook Page


This week we are Casing the Catty and taking on the Artistic Expression section of the 2014 Stampin' Up! catalog.    That would be pages 154-175.  On page 157, I drew inspiration from the scrapbook page and decided to use the layout of the page for my fall scrapbook page featuring my amazing nieces and nephew.    Love these fall leaf pictures that were taken last year.    They were perfect for the layout.

Primary Colors = Back to School
