Stampin Royalty Color Challenge

This week at Stampin' Royalty we bring you a color challenge.   The colors are Crumb Cake, Watermelon Wonder and Very Vanilla.  I was inspired by a fellow design team card.    I also decided to take it to another level by using Create with Connie & Mary's sketch challenge of the week.

Forever & Always

So many ideas came to mind when I saw this week's Freshly Made Sketch, I had so many great ideas.      In the end, I remembered I got this great bridal stamp set and knew I wanted to create something with it since wedding season is upon us.

One thing lead to another and I remembered about the beautiful Timeless Elegance designer series paper.   In the end, I absolutely love the way this card came out.

Congrats

On page 96 on the new Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog, I was completely inspired by the beautiful Congrats card.    I was on the fence with the Sunshine Sayings stamp set and Sunshine Wishes framelits but when I saw this great card, I was sold!!   Such a simple and beautiful wedding, anniversary and bridal shower cards.

So I decided to case the card and make it my own.    I decided to use the Something Borrowed designer series paper for the background of my card.   I have to say I love the way this card came out.   This might become my go to wedding card format.

Caseing the Catty

We are now blog hopping at Caseing the Catty.   So hop with us from one design team member to the next. I was completely inspired by this week's My Favorite Thing sketch of the week.   I love the square sketch.  I have done similar sketches with squares and I have to say I love the way they come out!

Congratulations to the Bride & Groom

When I saw the last sketch of the month from Verve, I was completely inspired.   The long top strip made me think of the Bow Builder Punch.    Then the the bow made me think of a wedding card and then it was perfect for the For the New Two stamp set I just got.

The dress was a free from cut I did.   I used the old Dress Framelits for a guide, but I just cut the card.   The bottom of the dress was a white emboss Flowering Flourishes

Mr & Mrs

Recently my little cousin just got married.    I needed to make a few wedding cards.   As always I am the go to person for making cards in my family.    So when there is a family event.  I not only need to make one card I need to make more than one design for the occasion.

Great Retro Sketch

 I just absolutely love this week's Retro Sketch.   I always wanted to do a triangle card and I get to do it with this week's sketch.   It is also perfect for this month's Fiskateers challenge which is to Back to Basics with only using our paper trimmers as a tool.   I cheated a little with my rounded corner.   I just can't seem to stop doing that!

Happy Anniversary

My aunt and uncle are celebrating their golden 50th anniversary.   Here is a card that I made for their big milestone with this week's My Favorite Things sketch.
The florals were made with the fancy flower punch.   Click here to see a tutorial.     I decided to forgo the one petal step of the tutorial and added a pearl to the center.   I also applied some glitter to the ends of the flower.

Winter Themed Wedding Card


 I have to say I love that gold is back in the trend watch!   What can I say I love it!!   Here is a wedding card I made for my cousin that got married.   I love the poinsettas on the card for this time of year.  

The mr and mrs.  I stamped with gold ink and then used gold embossing folder.   The &, I just stamped in gold and waited for it just dry.
