Golden Butterfly

We are now blog hopping at Caseing the Catty.   So hop with us from one design team member to the next.   I hope you can join us in the hop and enjoy all the beautiful creations that we case (copied and steal everything) from the Occasions Mini.    This week we are casing the Graduation section of the Occasions Mini.

I was sure which project I was going to draw inspiration from but after some thought I ended up drawing inspiration from the starts on the side of the graduation invitation.   I was looking to see what I could put on the side and then after some thought I remember seeing a card with Dotted Angles on the side versus on the bottom and I knew it was perfect for my inspiration.     So a little gold and viola another Mother's Day card!

If you have been following the hop, you just came from Rebecca Scurr and the next stop in the hop is
the  Bronwyn Eastley.

Paper:   Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Gold Foil, Gold Vellum
Accessories:   Gold Sequins, Rhinestones, Gold Embossing Powder, Gold Metallic Baker's Twine, Clothespin

Stamping Royalty

This month's Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking crowned their 2014 Stamping Royalty.   I worked really hard and submitted a few cards to the contest.  Unfortunately, I did not win.   I have to say it was a challenge to get down to the basics and primarily focus the card on just stamping.    It was not an easy challenge.

Here is the first card I came up with.  It was by far one of my favorites.

Ashley Harris is hosting a blog post dedicated to entries that were made to Stamping Royalty that didn't get chosen.   There are some beautiful cards.   Take a moment and visit her blog and get inspired by the amazing creativity in the paper crafting world.

Ink:  Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay

Gold, Gold and More Gold

I am loving the newest trend in the craft world.   It is gold and then some more gold!    There is a whole line of products in the Occasions Mini featuring the Metallics.   You are just going to love them all!   Sequins, Washi Tape, oh my!

The perfect addition is these great gold seals, I just knew I had to get them to add them to my gold metallic projects!     They are simple, just peel and stick to your project!    Here is a white gift bag dressed up with the seals, sequins and some punched circles!

During Sale-a-bration, starting today, you will get to earn for free the Good as Gold Cardmaking Kit.   In the kit, you will get Gold envelope liners.   Now, I know I should be using the envelope liners for what they are meant for, but I decided to used the liners to frame my sentiment and the extra pieces I punched out circles with!   Now that is what you call playing with scraps!    That is how I made my polka dot banner.   Just punch some circles with the envelope liners and viola you have your own custom designer paper!

Ink:   Versamark
Paper:   Whisper White, Gold Foil Sheets, Good as Gold Cardmaking Kit
