Panda Birthday

The first thing that drew me into this week's Fusion challenge was the rainbow stack of chairs.   I love all these beautiful colors.   I decided to sponge a rainbow striped circle with the colors from the chairs.   First I diecut a circle and used it as a stencil.   Then post its providing mask for the stripes as well helped keeping the circle in place.   Lastly I sponged on the different colors.       This by far is one of my favorite cards.

Ingredients to make the card:
Stamp Sets from Art Impressions, Lawn Fawn
Ink:   Basic Gray, Pink Passion, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana, Green Ink from a local craft store, Chameleon Markers

You're Beautiful

How much do you love #bff stamp set by The Project Bin.    Love all the beautiful sentiments.    There was a quote I read today, that got me thinking.     The quote was And if I asked you to name all the things that you love, how long would it take for you to name yourself.    There is so much negativity in the world including with ourselves.    We need to take the time out and build people up as well as ourselves.

This week's Retro Sketch they are asking us to choose any sketch from their history and make a card with it.

Here is one from June that I absolutely love.   Love all the details in this beautiful card.

Ingredients to make the card:
Stamp Sets:    #bff by The Project Bin
Ink:   Strawberry Slush
Paper:   Whisper White, Strawberry Slush, Pink Pirouette
Accessories:   Candy Dots, Enamel Hearts and Stickers

Paper craft Crew

This week Paper Craft Crew provides us a fabulous sketch.   Pennants circles, what is not to love.   As always I made it my own and changed it up a little bit.    I decided to combine it with this week's Unity girl challenge.    My favorite Unity girls are the Besties posing for a selfie.    Every time I put a card made with these girls in the coffee shop to sell.   It doesn't last long on the rack and it disappears.

So here are the girls on another card asking for some serious girl time.   Who doesn't need to spend more time with their besties!

Ingredients to make the card:
Stamp Sets from an online store
Ink:   Basic Black, Chameleon Markers and Soft Sky Blendabilites>

So Sad to See All These Products Go

So this week's Stampin' Royalty challenge is a color one.    We are playing homage to three retiring In Colors.   The colors are:   Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe paired up with Gold.

I can't tell you how sad I am to see these colors go, the 2013-2015 In Colors have been by far my favorite of all time!   So crisp, so fresh, which just means I am just so sad.

I paired up the colors with some of my favorite retiring stamp sets along with a Occasions Mini stamp set that is not making it to the catalog.

It also features the beautiful Lullaby designer series paper that is retiring along with the In Color Sequins retiring.      Such a happy card, but it makes me sad to see so many items on the card that will no longer be around.

The challenge will be open until 3:00 (PST) May 25th.    Hope you can join us!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy Birthday America.    Here is my red, white and blue creation.   I have to say I am loving the nautical theme.     I was completely inspired by this card I found on Pinterest.

To make the boxes, I stamped the Amazing Birthday and then punched out the stripes with my 3/4" square punch.   To add a dimension I added an extra 3/4" square punch out and added to the back of the square punch out.

The sentiment was printed and added to the card.

Ingredients to make the card:
Stamp Sets:  Amazing Birthday
Ink:  Primrose Petals, Midnight Muse
Paper:  Whisper White, Midnight Muse
Accessories:  Pearls
Tools:  3/4" Square Punch, Happy Whale Clearlits, Big Shot
