Event Display Stampers

Stampin' Up! is searching for event display stampers for the 2014 annual Convention!!!!

The event display stampers have the privilege of inspiring thousands of Convention goers with projects made with products from the 2014-15 Idea Book and Catalog on the convention display boards.

To be considered for three cards, one scrapbook page and two 3D items need to be collected or created.

I decided to try my hand and submit my projects for the honor of being an 2014 event display stamper.    I did a mix of creating as well as collecting for my submission.

You & Me

This week I decided to play along with Mojo Monday's sketch challenge.   I am so loving the gold metallic trend.   Here I paired up gold with the retired pixie pink.    Yes, I still own some pixie pink ink and card stock.   Well I have a marker and maybe 3 sheets left.

The background comes by using the stencil in the Build a Banner Simply Created Kit.   I inked up the stencil with my versamark pad, super easy and then some gold embossing powder and there is my background!

Merry Christmas!

After all my holiday projects, I couldn't end the holiday season without posting one of my favorite projects I created.    Here is a holiday ornament that I made.    So many fun textures that just make me smile.    I die cut the felt snowflakes with my Festive Flurrys Framelits.    The trick to get a clean cut is to run the framelit through a few times, so just crank back and forth with your Big Shot.   Also put a piece of cardstock in between your felt and the framelit this will help as well.    The cardboard I took a box and scrapped the box off of one side to give me the texture.   I also sponged on some white ink.
Here is my ornament and the ingredients to make it:
Stamp Sets:  Pines & Poinsettas
Ink:  Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Paper:  Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Accessories:   Crumb Cake Seam Binding,  Brushed Bronze Designer Buttons, Doily and Pearls from a local craft store
Tools:  Festive Flurry Framelits, Big Shot, 3" Circle Punch, Circles Collection Framelits, Crop-a-dile, Sponge Dauber
Misc:  Felt, Thread and Cardboard
I hope everyone has an amazing holiday with their family and friends!    Merry Christmas!
