Congrats

I love the simple elegance of this week's Retro Sketch of the week.   So simple but effective.

I decided to go with the Sunshine Sayings stamp set and the the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits pairing them up with the Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper.

Love the way this card came together.   You can never have enough wedding cards on hand.

Viva La Verve

Here is this month's Viva La Verve sketch.   I decided to change it up a little bit, but the overall elements of the sketch are there.    Being that it wedding season, I decided pull out the For The New Two stamp set and the beautiful Timeless Elegance designer series paper for a wedding card. Love those two products together.

Just Married

When I saw this week's Fusion challenge, it made me think of the beautiful wedding cake in the Your Perfect Day stamp set.   It was a perfect fit for the challenge and perfect addition to my card stash to sell at The Fine Grind coffee shop.

Swirly Scribbles Wedding Card

I am so excited to share with all of you sneak peeks from the Stampin' Up! 2016-17 Idea Book and Catalog.   Here is my favorite die, Swirly Scribbles.   I love, love this die.   Here is in one of the new In Colors, Flirty Flamingo.
I paired up the florals with the Playful Palette Designer Series Paper and the Pals Paper Arts sketch of the week.   How great is this week's Paper Craft Crew Challenge is Flowers.   This was perfect opportunity to showcase this amazing die!

Mr.& Mrs.

Here is a second design I created with this week's Mojo Monday sketch of the week and for the chance to be a part of the design team at Mojo Monday.   The design team creates inspirational projects every week and I would be honored to be chosen.  
 

Here is a twist on the Build a Birthday "wedding" card I create last week.    I decided to build a wedding cake using the beautiful trend for wedding colors in mint and pink.   I have to say I love this color combo and even more so using the Build A Birthday stamp set for a wedding cake.

Building a Wedding Cake

 Each week I anticipate all the beautiful weekly challenges the Fusion site presents us.    How beautiful is the colors, the sketch and the image in this week's challenge.

I decided to pull out the Build a Birthday stamp and create a wedding cake.    My favorite part of creating this card I was able to use the beautiful florals from the Floral Wings stamp set.

My Favorite Things Sketch of the Week

 I am so excited I got to play with some new things I got and it ended up with amazing card for this week's My Favorite Things sketch.

How great is the beautiful Your Perfect Day from the Occasions min.  One of the things I love most about the stamp set is that I can color it with my Blendabilities!!!  Coloring is so much fun.

Curious George Party!

My niece just turned 2 years old.     She absolutely loves Curious George.   So here are the party favor bags I made for all her little friends and cupcake toppers!    She loved her cupcake topper.    She kept pointing to the topper and saying George!!   So happy they were a hit by the birthday princess!

I found the clipart of George at this site.   Then I played with the various fonts on my computer to make the gift tag.     The fonts used are:  Arial, CK Black Out, Always & Forever.

Something Old, Something New

So this is the perfect wedding card.  It has a little something old, somthing new, something blue.   There is just nothing to be borrowed. Oh well 3 out of 4 works for me.

I used the hearts from the More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper.  All I needed to was flip the heart and now we have beautiful white doily hearts.

Minnie Mouse Birthday Banner





So I found this great kit to make paper doilies in my local craft store on clearance.    I know I could probably made the doilies with a little bit of time and patience, but I decided to buy the kit instead.    It saved me so much time.     All I needed to do was decorate with some circles and ribbon and there you have Minnie Mouse birthday banner to hang on the wall.

Playing with new Stickers

I got these great new stickers, they looked like embossed ink, but really are just stickers.   How quick and easy was this favor box made.   Die cut, add stickers, tie bow and accessories!   Most of the products are not SU, but the ones that are: Whisper White satin ribbon, pearls, aluminum tag and Box #2 Sizzex.

Love Pinterest

I have to say I love Pinterest.   It may seem like you are spending hours looking around pinning items to boards, but when it comes to time to make a card and you are out of ideas on what to do, it saves hours in the creative process.    I pinned this card to my board a while ago and it completely inspired me when I needed a card for my niece's christening.  So simple so cute and easy.

Homemade Christening Invitation

Here are the invitations I made for my niece's christening.  I was completely inspired by the kraft and dolie look by all the great projects on out Pinterest.   So simple a gatefold with a dolie on top.    I put a glue dot on one side and velcro on the otherside.    I also dyed the rosette with my perfect plum ink refill.   So easy to dye flowers.   I was so happy with the results.   Do you have an upcoming occasion that you need invitations, please feel contact me and I can create your one of a kind homemade invitation!
