1st Birthday

The Paper Crafts Milestone Birthday Continues.   I can never just make one card for a family member.  I usually need to make another card for my mom to give as well.    I have to say I just absolutely love, love this card.  So girly, so frilly.   I used my retired chipboard as a pattern for the one.    After that most of the products are not SU except for the Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon, Card Stock and Ink as well as the Pearls.

Party Ensemble

Paper Crafts is hosting a fabulous challenge with an amazing prize package.   It is to promote their new Party Ensemble special edition publication.    Well seeing the prize package was enough motivation for me to create for my sister's baby shower.    I am so excited I am going to be an aunt to a little girl!!   The theme for her room is a butterflies!   So here my party ensemble, a diaper cake, inviation, favor box and banner!

Click here to see the diaper cake tutorial.   It is actually super easy to make.   Looks harder than it actually is!      The flowers for the diaper cake were a long stem floral that I cut the florals off and tucked in the cake. The butterflies were punched and attached to the cake with stick pins with pearl tops.

The favor box was made with Box #2  and Two Tags Sizzex.    The banner is just a large circle cut out and folded in half.   1 3/4" circles were punched and attached to make the scallop edge.   Many of the products were purchased at a local craft store as well as the butterfly punches and baby stamp set.

I am so excited, it is World Card Making Day. So many exciting things happening on the Paper Crafts and the Moxie Fab World blogs and Facebook pages! Lots of giveaways, project inspirations, blog hop and contests. So check it out.

Teri Anderson posted a great challenge on the Paper Crafts Facebook page. The challenge is to make a thank you card using orange and yellow. There is a great prize.
