Burlap Flower

I love the Burlap Ribbon in the Holiday Mini.   I decided to use the Jumbo Sticky Rounds  and make my own burlap flower.    Start with a knot and then just keep twisting the flower until you have your burlap flower.     So simple, you will never want to buy another floral and just think of all the ribbon you have been hoarding, now you have a reason to use it!

Happy Thanksgiving

I love the amazing autumn stamp set, Truly Grateful.    I have to say one of my favorite parts of the stamp set is the wood background.   It is just beautiful.

Here are some tips and tricks to this card.   I cut the wheat in half and then put the Tags 4 You stamp set in the center.   This let me increase the length of the wheat and the impact to the card.    To keep the Burlap Ribbon folded in half in place, I made sure the rest of the embellishment it laid on top of was adhered to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Ingredients to make the card:
Stamp Sets:   Truly Grateful, Tags 4 You
Ink:   Crumb Cake, Early Espresso
Paper:   Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake,  Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper
Accessories:   Vintage Buttons, Linen Thread, Pearls, Burlap Ribbon
Tools:  Label Bracket Punch, Woodgrain Textured Embossing Folder, Big Shot

Stamping Royalty Photo Challenge

This week Stamping Royalty brings us a photo challenge.     I decided to do another card in Gold what can I say I am loving the way Gold embosses.   What can I say it makes me happy.    To add color to the doily I sponged on some Cajun Craze and Summer Starfruit.  Two colors blended together beautifully.    I put the card together and then decided at the last minute that the card needed a little pizzazz so I pulled out my scoring board and added some horizontal score lines to complete the project.

The Stampin Royalty challenge will be open until 3:00pm (PST) October 7th.
Hope you can join us!
