At the end of the day

Here is last week's Retro Sketch.   I decided to take this sketch and create a scrapbook page out of it.    The banners at the bottom of the sketch inspired my day at the beach page.

I decided on a black and white color scheme with pops of seaside color.   The end result make so happy.

I used the great sentiment from the Awesome Sauce stamp set At the End of the Day and paired it up with stickers I purchased that say Happiness is a Day at the Beach.

I just can't pass up a great sketch.   With a great sketch, like this week's Retro Sketch,   the card comes together quickly.   Top it off with beautiful designer series paper and in no time the card is done.   I think this card took 15 minutes.

Did Someone Say Sailing

I love the Reverse Confetti sketch of the month.    The circles and tabs totally inspired me to create this nautical theme page with some of the amazing nautical stamp sets that I have recently have gotten.

Being we are not really a sailing family, you will not see a lot of boating pictures, but I was really happy to find this great picture in my photo stash of my niece and nephew on a row boat!!

So it is not really sailing, but it is on the water!

I have so many amazing beach photos.   I am the ultimate beach bum.   Long Beach Island is one of my favorite summer getaways. Love Summer Fun

I can't tell you how happy I am that The Project Bin has come out with a Summer Fun stamp set.   It has completely inspired me to scrapbook.   I am the ultimate beach girl.  So it is no surprise that I have a collection of scrapbook paper and accents just waiting to be used for scrapbooking my memories.  I just haven't made the time to scrapbook lately.   There is always something that needs to be done that takes priority.

Thank you The Project Bin for giving me an opportunity to pull out my beach photos and get scrappin'.

First I create a card with the great sentiment Life is better in flip flops.    Isn't it?    Just slip flip flops on you are on your way.     Love the bright color scheme.    It just makes me smile.   Thank you As You See It for the sketch challenge and thank you for moving to a two week sketch challenge.   That makes me so happy!!!     I have a feeling that you may see this card end up being a project life card and end up on scrapbook page in the future!

The second project I created with the Summer Fun stamp set from the Project Bin is the Girls just want have sun page.   I decided to dedicate to my best friend's daughter.    She is graduating this year.   I can't believe this amazing girl is now a young lady who is now going to be moving on and experiencing new adventures on her own now.   I can still remember taking her and her brothers to the beach.  Each bringing their little sand buckets to the beach.   I loved my LBI beach summers with these kids and now it makes me a little sad to know that they are coming to an end.   Love you Gianna!

So I absolutely love the I love Lucy quote from the Awesome Sauce stamp set from The Project Bin.   The last time I went with the classic Black and White and Red card.   I decided to go with retro pink and light blue color combination.

Vitamin Sea

I just want to say thank you to The Project Bin.   I absolutely love the Summer Fun stamp set.   It totally inspired me to scrapbook!!!  It's been a while since I scrapbooked and I forgot how much I enjoy it.  

Here are pictures of my beach family.    My best friend and her amazing kids.   The kids were so little in these pictures!  

I started with making a card with the Vitamin Sea sentiment and ended up with a homemade Project Life card.    How great is the sentiment We all need a little Vitamin Sea.    I have to say this is probably the most photos I have put on a page in a long time.

Calamity Jane

Here is the newest stamp set from The Project Bin called Cowgirl Up!    There are so many great cowgirl sentiments.    Love the sentiment by Calamity Jane, I figure if a girl wants to be a legend, she should just go ahead and be one!   Love it!  

What I love most about this stamp set is the fact I can use up some of my retired Outlaw designer series paper.   I am big country music fan so when this great designer series paper was released, I bought two paper packs.      I bought it to create scrapbook pages   While I made a few pages, there are plenty of memories I want to capture.  

So I am happy that there is a stamp set that now I can use that is perfect for this designer series paper.  

This month's Sugar Sketch Challenge is the perfect sketch to showcase the Calamity Jane sentiment!     Instead of a circle, I decided to round up some twine to make it look like rope and it was a perfect embellishment for the card and take on the sketch.

So The Project Bin has knocked out of the park again with their amazing Walt Disney sentiment in their Wise Men stamp set.    I am the ultimate Disney fan.   I was so excited to create a card with stickers that I have had in my craft stash for sometime.     Thank you Project Bin.

I really love the way this card came together.   It reminds of ice cream parlors.   Totally fun and cute.
