Inkredible Challenge

This week's Inkredible challenge is two use two Big Shot die cut on a card. So on this card there is the Beautiful Butterfly die and the Clear Circle Sizzex die. The card features two Sale-a-bration producs, the Yummy stamp set and the Delicate Dots designer series paper. I started with die cut the clear circle and stamping the greeting from the Yummy stamp set. Next came the Butterfly I diecut with the Beautiful Butterfly die cut which I put 3 certainly celery brads through the center. On the side fo the card I cut about a 1/4" off the fron the card, the I added a strip of Delicate Dots and a eyelet border I made with Certainly Celery card stock.

Pretties Challenge

I was just challenged by my group to use the Pretties. I have to say I love using the pretties on cards and pages. They are just so beautiful. Here I colored in the Inspired By Nature stamp set with my Stampin' Write Markers, Pretty in Pink, Mellow Moss and Creamy Caramel. The flower petals came in a little streaky when I stamped it the first time. To remove the streaks I used my sponge daubers and just dabbed the leaf petals and the centers and that fixed the petals beautifully. I added the image on top Mellow Moss card stock and then on top of the Pink Pirouette designer paper. I tied a knot with the 1 1/4" Pink Pirouette grosgrain ribbon. I then put a pretties hat pin through and added some clear tear drops and pearls. I stamped the greeting from the On Your Birthday stamp set. The scallop edge finishes the card off. This card is going out to my cousin Barb for her birthday. Unfortunately, it should have been in the mail today, since her birthday is today. I guess one day late is not too bad.
