You are a fabulous Mom

This week Stampin' Royalty brings us a May Flowers with a photo inspiration.   I have to say I love, love this these colors together.   How beautiful is light blue and red.     Here is a card I made for my mom for her birthday.    I used the amazing new Work of Art stamp set that will be available in the new catalog.    I used the sentiment from the stamp set but masked over end and added the Mom sentiment.  The sentiment actual sentiment says You are a fabulous work of art.     Just goes to show you can change things to work for you.    The background comes from the new stamp set as well.

The flowers were paper pierced from the Happy Watercolor stamp set.    Just a heads up, very upsetting, but the Happy Watercolor stamp set will not make into the new catalog, so if you love it as much as me, you will want to get it!

Inkredible Color Challenge

I just love this week's Inkredible color challenge.    The colors are:   Pool Party and Melon Mambo.   The colors just make me smile.

I had so much fun creating the flower that I decided to make a tag with the floral for a Mother's Day tag.    For the project I used the amazing new Work of Art stamp set that will be available in the new Idea Book and Catalog.    The sentiment that comes from with the set says You are a fabulous work of art.   I masked off the work of art and added mom to customize the sentiment for Mother's day.   Just think of all the possibilities.    I decided to change up the colors and make them Strawberry Slush and Coastal Cabana.

 How awesome is this week's Mojo Monday sketch.   As soon as I saw the banners I knew I just had to make something with this sketch.    I saw on Pinterest taking washi tape and covering wrapping it around baker's twine to make banners and I just knew it would work perfectly for this week's Mojo Monday sketch.   Here is Gingham Garden product suite paired up with this week's Mojo Monday sketch.

The florals come from cutting them out of the Gingham Garden designer series paper.

Inkredible Color Challenge

So I am a little behind, here is last week's Inkredible color challenge:  Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding and Baked Brown Sugar.     At first I wasn't sure about these three colors together, but in the end I am happy with the results.    It's never to early to start making mother's day cards.  I just love the sentiment in the Occasions mini stamp set, My Mother.
