April Occasions Open Workshop

Very exciting I get to hold two open workshops this month. The first one will be based on products from the Occasions Mini. We only have one month left for this fabulous mini catalog. I have to say most of my inspiration came from the Stampin' Up! regional event I attended this past weekend!

We will be making 3 projects:
A banner to hang in your kitchen.
We can easily change the theme to Love or Home if someone would like to change. Birthday Treat pouch Mother's Day card

We will get to use the fabulous Petal Cone Sizzex die for two of the projects. We will also get to use the two amazing punches that were introduced in this mini as well, Build a Cupcake and Blossom Petals. You will get to learn how to the heat gun and aqua painter as well.

The open workshop will take place in my stamping studio on
Sunday, April 17th 2 p.m.
Tuesday, April 19th Two sessions: 10 a.m. and then again at 7 p.m.

April Spring and Easter Open Workshop

Stamping Royalty Goddess

I am very excited to announce that I have been chosen to be a design team member of the Stamping Royalty. What a great way to start off my 7th year anniversary with Stampin' Up! 7 years Stampin' Up!


Wednesday, March 30th , will be 7 year anniversary with Stampin' Up! I can't believe it's been 7 years. So many wonderful things have come to me and have happened in that period of time. I have to say it is by far one of the best decisions I have ever made. So many friendships have been made in that time. I can't imagine what life was before homemade cards and cherished scrapbook pages were brought into my life. Never underestimate what a homemade item will bring into your life.

Here is my second favorite Sizzex die that we have come out with recently. This is our amazing Petal Cone die. It is so easy to overlook it in our Occasions Mini, but by far one of the most versatile. You are going to see many, many more projects using this project. I have just scratched the surface on using it. I have seen so many great ideas. Here is a super simple project with such a wow factor.

Stamping Royalty Bliss


So when I sat down to work on this week's Stamping Royalty sketch the only thing I knew is I wanted to make a card with one of our fabulous Sale-a-bration stamp sets before they are no longer available. Then I pulled out this beautiful Springtime Vintage designer series paper. After that the card came together so quickly and beautifully. If you haven't tried creating a card with a sketch, you just have to try it! It really does make it so easy to put a card together and it completely takes you out of your comfort zone.

The flower in the center of the card I cut out from the designer series paper and attached it to the center with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge

As soon as I saw this week's Mojo Monday sketch I thought of my rhinestones swirls that I bought a long time ago and knew this week's project was going to feature them. It also inspired me to make a scrapbook page. What an amazing sketch. The only challenge was cutting my 12x12 page on angle without my paper cutter. The plus is that I did it free hand by following the polka dots.
